We received a distress call from a local resident in Leocan.
One of her hind legs was broken and bleeding.
She was not scared when we arrived and was very cooperative during the rescue.
We called her Norita.
We rushed her to the hospital as fast as we could.
Luckily they treated her super fast
They sedated her and proceeded to clean the deep wound.
She was very anemic (15% hematocrit) had been bleeding for a long time and was still bleeding.
She almost certainly needed a blood transfusion
Norita was scheduled for surgery when her health stabilized.
