We received a picture of an animal lover.
The dog had a large tumor in her abdomen that was bigger than a football.
Her body was large and her fur was shaggy, making her look even heavier.
How could she wander around with such a large tumor?
And no one cared about her all this time.
It was sad to see her like this.
We approached her and wanted to take her away.
Luckily, she did not resist.
Her large body made me struggle.

We moved to the hospital and started doing tests.
The oncologist examined her, the tumor was scarred, which means it could rupture soon
They did a biochemical and general blood test on the dog (required before surgery) and scheduled the surgery for tomorrow
After the surgery, a histological sample would be taken from the tumor itself to prescribe the correct treatment.

All her indicators were good for surgery.
We gave her a name before entering the operating room.
Lucy would be her name from today.
Hopefully this name would bring her good luck.
And as expected.
Lucy’s surgery was very successful.
She was transferred to the intensive care unit.
Lucy was eating well and has started taking medication.

After surgery to remove a tumor the size of a giant ball
Lucy has had her wound stitched up and is resting after a major surgery
She has her bandages changed and her wound cleaned every day
Let’s wish Lucy a speedy recovery
