Rescue dogs returned to Poland
The tragedy that hit Turkey in the recent cataclysm is beyond description. Recently, rescuers from all over the world, accompanied by rescue dogs, have been traversing the ruins of destroyed buildings. They pulled out bodies and rescued people stuck under the rubble. Eight rescue dogs from Poland took part in the rescue operation. Thanks to their instincts and actions, many people were saved from the rubble. The dogs recently returned to the country. They were greeted at the airport as befits true heroes!
As is known, the rescue operation in Turkey lasted from February 6 to 15. Thanks to the determination and teamwork of rescuers and trained dogs, 12 people, including 3 children, were rescued from the rubble alive. In such a large disaster, every person pulled out from under the rubble is worth its weight in gold. The conditions in which the rescue team operated were very dangerous.
One of the rescuers from Mexico found out about this when he lost one of his companion dogs. Unfortunately, during the search, the ceiling of a damaged building collapsed on him. The dog died a true hero, because he had previously saved 2 people. He was bid farewell with honors, and condolences were sent by Internet users from all over the world.
It wasn’t without injuries.
Fortunately, none of our rescue dogs suffered any serious injuries during the rescue operation. This does not mean that there were no injuries. According to the medics who were constantly monitoring the dogs’ health, there were scratches and wounds, especially on the pads of their paws.
However, all injuries were disinfected and dressed on an ongoing basis. Turkish doctors also joined in the help. Now that the rescue mission is over, the rescue dogs can go on a well-deserved rest. They showed great courage and determination during the mission. One of the awards that the furry creatures received is a dog spa. A report appeared on the Internet about a team of dog groomers taking care of the entire group of them. They are undoubtedly real heroes!
