A dog rescue was called for an abuse case where a dog had been locked in a room and forgotten. The poor dog had spent a year and a half in there and had become very aggressive trapped by her loneliness.

As rescuers approached, the dog barked and growled at them through some wooden slats above one of the windows. How could a dog treated like this not be aggressive and abusive? He has had no human interaction since someone cruelly left him to fend for himself with nothing.

Much to their dismay, the dog was even tethered to a chain inside this room. The team took him out of there to see the sun for the first time in years. With the dog still acting out, they had no choice but to secure him with a net for a safe and secure transfer.

After just a couple of days back at the rescue, Thunder has blossomed into a very happy and loving young man! The dog knows these people are here to help, and he is so content as he waits for that forever home.
