Rescue groups around the world are working tirelessly to change lives. One group responded to a call about a tiny puppy. He was found all alone, soaking wet and obviously hungry. A puppy as small as him is even more susceptible to tragedy, writes ilovemydogsomuch

Especially because he likes to greet people by running down the street. It was only a matter of time before he got hit by a car. Something had to be done. Quick!

The rescue group, We Saved A Puppy, raced to save the baby. They named him Stormy because they found him in the pouring rain. He ran toward them, wagging his tail, but as soon as they tried to pick him up, he retreated.

The rescuers continued to try to pick up the cub. Finally, with a trail of food and quick moves, they managed to grab him. He is so precious!

They took Stormy to the vet right away. The poor baby was covered in fleas. His blood work showed that he was anemic due to the flea infestation and not eating a proper diet. Stormy is being given deworming medication and anemia medication.

Next up is a flea bath. YES! Those creepy crawlers need to go! Plus, Stormy is dirty from being out on the streets. He’ll feel so much better!

They dressed him in a cute dinosaur onesie to keep him warm! They later posted his photo on their social media page and the adopters jumped at the change to take him home.

Sweet puppy finds a wonderful mommy. Look how big he’s gotten! OH! Watch what happens when rescuers step in and stop at nothing to save a life!
