Devi was found wandering the streets of Haridwar yesterday with an abnormally big stomach by a friend. He instantly knew something wasn’t right and the locals confirmed she had been like that for a few months now.
After not being able to get any help locally , we immediately arranged for an ambulance from Delhi (258 kms ) to pick up Devi for treatment. She was the sweetest girl throughout the journey. Though the initial assessment clearly indicates Ascites , we would be getting an ultrasound and a complete blood work done to assess Devi’s situation better
