Before rescuers could get Flossie out of a rabbit hole, she had been stuck there for more than two days.

In a dramatic true story video, a woman who was trapped underground for 56 hours somehow survived the experience before being dragged out of the pit.
According to a TikTok video released by her owner Poppy Vernon, Flossie the teacup passed away on April 25. As the dog is called, it portrays someone digging a fairly deep hole. They assumed the nine-year-old dog had become stuck in a rabbit hole near where she frequently went for walks outside her Deon, England home.

The situation: Their home is surrounded by hundreds of rat tunnels. They used subterranean самeras to make hours-long calls to the holes. A team of tracking dogs spent the whole night searching, but they were unable to locate Flossie.

Poppy recalls that around six hours later, a neighbor heard a “tiny ark” creaking from behind a bush. The search canines returned, and this time they discovered Flossie.
In the video, Toby Leary, wearing a green shirt, leans into the hole with his arms extended. Leary continues to chip away at the hole’s wall until we finally glimpse Flossie’s small dead body in the hole. After that, he is eventually able to free her from her underground hiding place.
She hadn’t gained any weight but was generally unharmed despite spending four days missing and several hours in the mud. More than 3.6 million people have seen the film that documents her journey.
Vernon told the BBC, “We’re simply happy to have her by our sides and, sure, give her cuddles.
Vernon claims in another TikTok that she believes Flossie dug her own tunnel below, blocking her way out, after discovering a hole and entering it.
She explained, “She just completely, you know, urried herself alone.”

Vernon said it’s “amazing” they discovered her in light of this, and they’ll make sure to watch out for her when she walks outdoors moving forward.
