While feeding local strays, a man came across a puppy that had been thrown away like garbage. Left to fend for itself in the elements, the puppy took an old shoe for comfort and possible shelter.

There was no mother in sight, so he rushed the pup to the rescue…

She named the puppy Smesten and introduced him to the other dogs!

A check-up showed that the puppy was still healthy, just needing proper food and nutrition.
